23-11-2006  Call to introduce Botswana Sign Language as third official language
Gaborone, Botswana (RB gov): The leadership of Botswana Association for the Deaf has called on the government to reserve at least five per cent of parliamentary seats for people with disabilities. […] Ms Magdeline Mapharing also called for the introduction of a Botswana Sign Language and accorded third official language status after Setswana and English.
