13-12-2006  Apple granted speech recognition patent
Washington, USA (MacNN): On December 12, the US Patent & Trademark Office published Apple’s newly granted patent for ‘Method and apparatus for speech recognition using semantic inference and word agglomeration.’ Apple’s patent relates generally to pattern recognition. More particularly, this invention relates to speech recognition systems that recognize commands using semantic inference and word agglomeration.
