  Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize
Oxford, UK (Oxford): The Oxford-Weidenfeld Prize is for translations into English from any living European language. It aims to honour the craft of translation, and to recognise its cultural importance. This year, Robert McCrum, literary editor of The Observer, will join the judging panel, alongside the Oxford academics and translators, Matthew Reynolds (Chair), Caroline Warman, and Chris Miller. The closing date for entries is 31st January, 2007.
