  California court interpreters to be provided for civil cases?
California, USA (SF Chronicle): The chief justice said he may advocate another three-county pilot project to pay for court interpreters in civil cases that involve basic rights. Schwarzenegger vetoed legislation in October that would have provided interpreters for civil cases in all counties, saying the cost of as much as $10 million a year was too high.
