  Portugal and India to promote mutual translation program
New Delhi, India (IRNA): Isabel Pires De Lima, Portuguese minister of culture today called on the Minister of Indian Tourism & Culture Ambika Soni. During their half-an-hour meeting both the ministers agreed that Cultural Exchange Program which was signed Thursday in New Delhi in the presence of the visiting Portuguese president and prime minister of India will be made operational soon. […] Both the countries also agreed to promote translation of representative contemporary literature of both countries on reciprocal basis. Both sides will explore the possibility of exchanging one writer during the time-frame of this program.
