Virtual translator service
|
Sunderland, UK (eGov): The Sunderland Refugee Centre has a regular need for translation services. Due to the variety of translation requirements (frequently in very specific dialects) it is often necessary to engage a translator from another part of the country. There are frequently times when they have to wait for a translator to be available to travel to Sunderland and the result is extra costs for travelling and delays in providing translation services. The Refugee Centre saw an opportunity to use FlashMeeting to enable a translator to be available `virtually’.
