AGILE consortium working on machine translation of speech and text from Arabic and Chinese

Edinburgh, Scotland (UoE): The AGILE consortium is a project for machine translation of speech and text from Arabic and Chinese. This is a joint project with BBN, ISI, MIT, and Cambridge University (and other partners working on speech recognition and distillations). It is funded by the US Defense Advanced Research Program Agency (DARPA), under a funding program called GALE.
