  Special visas for Iraqi translators
Washington, USA (NY Times): The Bush administration is considering legislation that would allow Iraqis who have been singled out as collaborators for working or associating with American officials to come to the United States on special immigrant visas or through other programs, officials said Wednesday. The program would be broader than the current special visa for translators, which now provides 50 visas each year for translators who have worked for the American military in Iraq and Afghanistan.
