Arabic interpreters criticized during Madrid trial
|
Madrid, Spain (IHT): Judge Javier Gomez Bermudez interrupted the trial of the men accused of bombing Madrid on March 11, 2004 to give the interpreters a ticking-off Thursday. The senior judge at the trial was so unsatisfied with the work of the interpreters on the first day of the trial that he called for a short recess and demanded to see them in his chambers.
