16-01-2006  Iraqi blogger pays tribute to murdered interpreter
Baghdad, Iraq (Editor & Publisher): “Riverbend” is the pen name for the Iraqi blogger who has paid tribute to the interpreter murdered during the kidnapping of American reporter Jill Carroll.
Now she has posted a tribute to the often overlooked figure in the tragic abduction of American reporter Jill Carroll in Baghdad last Saturday - her translator, Alan Enwiyah, 32, who was shot and killed in the incident.
